The Garden

Em got to pull her first carrot from the garden. They make for great teethers. Dig that bed head.

Party in Glacier

Em has a new boyfriend. His name is Todd. He is 10. And he lives in Mostar, Bosnia. Too bad she probably won't see him again until she's 10.

As you can see they got on very well.

She hasn't quite mastered the drinking from a cup thing yet.

They told me the cup had juice in it. I suspect something else. She looks stoned. And I have never seen her so filthy, but I think she had a good time.

Water

Well, Em is finally over her fear of water. I wouldn't say she enjoyed her last bath, but she didn't cry either. She did however, love her trip to the Greenlake wade pool.

Comparison Pic

This is the day we came home. They are so tiny.

Long time no post.

I'm afraid all my energy seems to be wrapped up in looking for a job. But here is a little catch up.

These are her sleeping buddies, both gifts from Auntie Tina.

We went to the zoo with Lynne and Dylan recently. Em and Dyl got in a little drumming together.

Em has given up on the crawling and is now a full time walker.

She still only has two bottom teeth but she will try and eat anything. She loves pasta; organic and whole grain of course. She has learned the sign for food which I taught her to connect to the word eat. Funny thing is, today I asked her if she was hungry, and before I could correct myself and ask if she wanted something to eat, she made the sign for food. She made the connection between the words hungry and food on her own. No dummy my girl.

She often takes the brush from me after we put up her "spout do" and tries to brush her hair, this time she tried to comb it and ended up getting the comb stuck in her hair. Ok, so she's no genius either.
